BOOKTOK: THE NEVER ENDING TREND

    Shining displays, radiating lights, and captivating covers, booktok books are ever more eye-catching. Smack center in bookstores, they beam at readers who wander in to pick them up.  But why are booktok books so popular? Do the contents the books contain of any substance? What causes people to be obsessed with books? 

  

 With #BookTok having over 200 billion views on Tiktok, Colleen Hoover, Ana Huang, and numerous other authors now have millions reading and posting about their books. Now in bookstores such as Barnes and Nobles, there are whole shelves and displays dedicated to these Booktok books.
